Laxman was invited to the houses of parliament on the 2nd of May to attend a Composites UK Parliamentary reception. This was an opportunity to connect with inspiring professionals who are passionate about driving the UK’s low carbon future. The composites sector contributes £10.72 Bn to the UK economy and accounts for 47,500 high value jobs.
He away brimming with ideas as to how to advance Jo Bird’s research into new materials and established useful contacts who offered to help with this research.
