The JB17FE by Jo Bird is designed to store two sets of Fire fighter’s gear including SCBA and spare cylinders with the uniforms stored on hangers. This tidy layout ensures all the equipment can be immediately accessible in an emergency. This very popular cabinet is manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.

The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door apertures to help keep the equipment dry and dust free. The hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. The interlocking doors are secured with 316 stainless steel 3 way locking fitted with a single handle to guarantee fast access even when wearing gloves.

The cabinet can be extensively customised to store additional equipment such as fire axes. Modified for hot environments with vents for additional air circulation or with heaters and insulation for cold outdoor conditions. Please ask for further details.
