The JB28R fire axe cabinet stores one large fire axe which is securely held in place by a 316 Stainless steel bracket.
These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. The cabinet has both Lloyds and ABS approvals.
The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door aperture. The nylon hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers.
The door can be specified with left or right hinging and features a Graphite nylon/316 Stainless steel rotary handle to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves. This can be fitted with an anti-tamper seal.
